Job Profile: This is a future opportunity role
Manage the education department and Instructor team in the implementation and delivery of all programs. Conducts all operations in compliance with Everest College's policy and procedures. Meets accreditation, regulatory and legal requirements.
. Achieve and maintain budgeted retention rates and balance attrition rates
. Manage student attendance, grades, statistics
. Ensure student files are accurately maintained as per regulatory and legal requirements
. Develop and implement student orientation sessions.
. Assist with evaluations of student grades and attendance
. Assist in the planning and implementation of the graduation ceremony.
. Responsible for recruitment, selection, orientation, supervision, development and evaluation of faculty staff
. Develop departmental goals and measurements to ensure efficient and effective departmental performance
. Ensure that all staff meet corporate standards with respect to curriculum, program delivery and Ministry procedures
. Monitor classroom instruction
. Ensure instructors update and build upon classroom material and/or curriculum to ensure department meets corporate and industry standards
. Validate medical accreditation with agencies, associations and other governing bodies.
. Provide leadership to Instructors, motivating staff to participate in company's objectives and continuously keep staff informed of changes or new directions.
Co-ordinate the development of programs of study, course descriptions, class schedules, syllabus for each class, selection and timely acquisition of textbooks and related academic equipment and supplies, and ensure there are adequate faculty and facilities to accommodate the needs of the students.
. Schedule faculty in accordance with experience and accreditation standards
. Assist in all accreditation processes and applications, including coordination of accreditation visits
. Encourage business growth through liaisons with external agencies such as government, corporate, and community organizations
. Contribute to the strategic planning process, recommending short and long-term training plans/objectives
. Investigate and make recommendations to the College President on issues related to curriculum matters, and student and employee relations
· University degree from an accredited educational institution recognized by Everest
· Strong team management experience, managing larger groups
· Proven ability to work in a highly regulated and process driven environment
· 3-5 years' experience in the field of education, preferably in adult education
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Exceptional multi-tasking abilities and strong attention to detail and administration
· Experience using Microsoft Office
· Passion for training and developing others with a strong focus on customer service
· Proven business and financial acumen
· Adult Education certification is an asset
