Clerical Support, Claims
Part Time, Temporary (6 Month Contract)
Here's what we're looking for:
This position is responsible for the delivery of clerical support to the Claims Department in the Lethbridge Centre. This is a versatile support role that requires operational abilities in a variety of clerical functions, which can include service to both internal and external customers.
Other duties for this role include but are not limited to:
- Assisting walk-in clients with inquiries and setting up of new claims
- Assisting adjusters with correspondence and payments as required
- Opening claims and setting initial reserves
- Preparing and sending subrogation requests
- Processing subrogation recoveries and claim repayments
- Handling telephone inquiry calls
- Mail sorting, filing, and general office admin duties
As the successful candidate you will have a high school diploma and a minimum of 2 years experience in general office procedures and administration. Your excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills and demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks of competing priorities will make you a strong candidate for the role.
You will possess a positive attitude, be a good listener, have an outgoing, friendly and helpful personality with a fair and empathetic approach to customer needs.
