Position Description:

MMM Group is currently seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Infrastructure and Environment Division located at our Ottawa office. Reporting to the department manager this position will be responsible for participating in the delivery of multidisciplinary municipal design projects, which will include inspection, evaluation, analysis, design, cost estimating, tender preparation, shop drawing review, and construction administration.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Prepare technical analysis and design;
  • Preparing reports;
  • Provide cost estimating;
  • Prepare and review drawings;
  • Contract specifications/documentation;
  • Liaison with team members, clients and agencies;
  • Other duties as assigned.



  • A registered professional engineer with PEO or equivalent;
  • Minimum of 5-7 years' related experience;
  • Experience working on city/ municipal /provincial LRT and highway design project teams;
  • Knowledge of various software packages (Microsoft office, AutoCAD, Microstation);
  • Good technical writing skills;
  • Good command of English language, both written and verbal;
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills;
  • A vehicle in suitable working order and a valid driver's license are an asset;
