Human Resources Business Partner

Are you a progressive HR Business Partner looking for your next move? Are you motivated to create the best possible workplace? Can you identify opportunities and implement plans to meet business goals? Our client, part of a global organization is looking for an HR Business Partner to guide change initiatives.


More precisely, your principal responsibilities will be the following:
-Provide leadership and guidance on change initiatives
-Consult with senior leadership on employee relations issues and employment legislation
-Develop and execute HR processes including talent management, organizational design, succession planning, goal alignment, employee engagement and communications
-Identify opportunities and then implement strategies that will achieve business objectives
-Build and develop relationships with managers, client groups and team members
-Participate in long-range planning and decision making
-Support HR functional transformation initiatives
-Partner with HR Centers of Excellence and the HR Services organization to successfully transform the HR service delivery model while enhancing effectiveness and reducing cost
-Talent Management - Provides leadership, guidance, and counsel to Canada business leaders on matters related to talent, organizational change, and human development
-Employee Relations - Coach employees on problem resolution, coach leaders through change management processes, etc.
-Compensation and Benefits: Main contact for the business in regards to salary planning, incentive alignment, compensation approvals, and ensure compensation and benefits remain competitive so that top talent is retained
-Employee Engagement: Supports business leaders for designated teams / functions in managing and delivering programs around organizational change / organizational effectiveness / employee engagement

Requirements:
-7 to 10 years of progressive experience as an HR Business Partner
-Demonstrated ability to guide and influence senior managers
-Strong understanding of how HR can impact the business
-Solid experience in Change Management and Organizational Development
-High level of knowledge of employment legislation
-Experience with the impact mergers and acquisitions can have on HR
-University degree in business, MBA is an asset, SPHR/ CHRP designation is an asset
-Previous experience working in heavily matrixed environments is an asset
-Strong project management skills with a drive to achieve results
-Ability to demonstrate confidence and build relationships
-Flexible, positive, enthusiastic and solutions oriented
