At the end of the 17-week program, you will have the skills needed to be a member services advisor. Training includes preparation for the mutual fund representative licence exam. This experience could land you a permanent job!

Responsibilities

  • Build lasting business relationships with members.
  • Become familiar with Desjardins products and services to meet members' investment and financing needs (excluding mortgages).
  • Identify business opportunities and recommend products based on client needs.
  • Analyze and approve/deny financing applications (excluding mortgages).

Qualifications

  • Diploma of college studies (DEC) in business administration.

or

  • Certificate in personal financial planning or in administration.

or

  • Attestation of college studies (AEC) in financial advisory services.

  • Ability to learn on the job.
  • Approachable.
  • Client focus.
  • Action and results oriented.
  • Self-Starter.
  • Mutual Fund Representative license (an asset).
  • Experience in customer service or sales (an asset).
  • Bilingual (French/English) (an asset).

Other working conditions: Benefits of a permanent employee. Temporary 18-month position, with a possibility of becoming permanent. As part of the program, you must commit to obtaining a mutual fund representative license. The person in this position must be mobile within 100 km from his home. Work Schedule: Days and evenings.
