HR Coordinator (#316615)

Are you an HR Coordinator open to contract or temporary placements? This is the type of role that our clients request to help them cover leaves and project work. The scope of the role could be specific to a project or more general HR in nature. The typical contract lasts for 2 months and they are often extended. Our clients are located downtown Toronto and throughout the GTA. Depending on the role we are looking for candidates with 6 months to 3 years of experience. More precisely, your principal responsibilities will be the following:

- Recruitment coordination: screening resumes, booking interviews, participating in interviews, references, preparing offer packages
- HR Administration: ensure that all employee information is accurate and up to date - salary changes, benefits, vacation, leaves etc., creating reports on key HR metrics
- Training coordination: maintaining employee training database, coordinating logistics for training sessions
- On-boarding: preparing welcome packages, facilitating on-boarding and orientation
- Health and Safety: participating in health and safety meetings
- Payroll: assisting with payroll activities, benefits enrollment (will depend on the contract)
- Other HR assignments as required


- 6 months to 3 years of experience in a similar role
- University Degree or College Diploma in Human Resources, CHRP or CHRP in progress
- Payroll and benefits administration experience
- Knowledge of ESA for Ontario
- Payroll and benefits administration experience (depending on the contract)
- Proficient computer skills: Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, HRIS, ATS systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong customer service mindset
- Strong customer service mindset and a proactive approach
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times, high level of integrity
