EXPERIENCE: In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you must have:
- A strong understanding of the legal marketplace developed by working as either: as a lawyer; or as a marketing, sales and/or business development professional with a well-established law firm.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in a leadership role with a focus on developing business, building and maintaining outstanding client relationships leading to increased revenues and profitability.
- Experience in strategic planning.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Outstanding judgment and initiative and a passion for excellence.
- Excellent interpersonal, networking, organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
- A Business Degree or MBA is preferred.

Working closely with the CEO, you’ll be tasked with building and strengthening the firm’s business relationships with important members of the legal profession using a “whatever it takes” attitude. Both your creative and strategic abilities will be engaged as you tackle everything from setting the strategic direction of the company to event planning and preparation, client concerns and escalations, facilities planning, sales and marketing communications and even choosing artwork with curators. As Chief Client Development Officer, you will be the face of the company. To ensure success you must be a strong leader and extremely self-motivated to do whatever it takes to ensure the company is a leader in its class for the entire life cycle of the client relationship: from finding and introducing potential clients to the company’s facilities and services; planning and managing client events and meetings; to ensuring that all staff and services are performing optimally resulting in an unparalleled customer experience. Occasional travel to conferences and other networking events may be required.
