EXPERIENCE:  In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you will have:

  • 3+ years’ supervisory experience.
  • 6+ months’ work in community nursing.
  • Excellent computer skills. Knowledge and familiarity with scheduling systems are preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A vehicle and driver’s license.
  • The ability to work an on call rotation.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This leader seeks to hire a Health Services Supervisor for their Mississauga region, based out of the Mississauga location.  The successful candidate will join a management team that is responsible for program delivery and on-site care throughout the region.  They will oversee the day-to-day operations and performance of 60+ front-line staff covering a host of specialized areas of community care:  pediatrics, wound care, school nursing programs, mental health, complex long-term geriatric care, etc.  The incumbent will work closely with front-line staff and the management team to ensure the quality of care and customer service not only meets but also exceeds the standards put in place by the organization.  They will ensure that any client issues are attended to quickly and will work with the management group on all project/ program development initiatives and their successful implementation.
