Reporting to the Regional Service Manager, the Technical Service Supervisor will lead a team of Field Service Representatives FSRs to achieve profitability growth and customer satisfaction in the geographic area Develop and direct this service team in providing high-end services in engineering and commissioning of service projects modifications retrofits and migrations on LV MV distribution equipment VFD and automation product spectrums on-call services and execution of unplanned preventative maintenance agreements Responsible for weekly work planning technician development control service reports timesheets expenses and manage resources to improve overall utilization while also working actively in the field at customer sites Promote service among existing customers and identify potential customers for services related to power distribution drives automation and control Carry out detailed resource and capacity planning for the service team Manage workforce utilization including own utilization vacation schedules overtime approvals etc for all service employees and ensure effective staffing levels for current and future business needs Be contractually and commercially aware of the company's position at all times Ensure that all work performed adhere to Employment Standards Act the Company EHS Policy and all other relevant Procedures/Statutory Regulations/Standards and Customer Requirements at all times Support local Sales Forces to deploy market strategies customer leads track competitor activities communicate client needs etc Make presentations to clients articulating the value proposition of product and service offerings Assist in resolving issues related to customer satisfaction as required Visit and work with Technicians on job site and ensure compliance with quality standards safety and assurance procedures
