Senior Law Clerk – Litigation
Salary: $70K++

Primary Duties Include:

  • Preparation and drafting of correspondence and legal documents (including motion records, pre-trial/mediation memos, pleadings, affidavits of documents, etc.) for filing and service
  • File management
  • Coordination of document discovery process
  • Productions of files and documents, including preparation of Affidavit of Documents, summaries of productions and discovery briefs
  • Management of electronic data for discovery and trial
  • Reviewing and summarizing transcripts of examinations, managing undertakings and refusals
  • Preparing charts, chronologies and summaries of documentary evidence
  • Maintaining daily contact with clients in a professional manner
  • Other general duties as required


Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of litigation clerk experience
  • Law Clerk/ILCO Certification
  • Solid knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure and statues
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while paying attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and client service skills
  • Confident and dependable, with strong initiative and ability to work both independently and in a team oriented atmosphere
  • Strong knowledge of Summation and other industry standard litigation support software
  • Strong technical skills (including Microsoft Office)
