SAFETY SALES SPECIALIST- GREATER VANCOUVER
RESPONSIBILITIES: THE COMPANY
Our industry leading client is a global distributor of industrial and construction products. This well established and high profile client has partnered up with LOCK SEARCH GROUP in search for a SAFETY SALES SPECIALIST in Greater Vancouver.
As the Safety Sales Specialist, you will perform strategic market planning, sales training and joint calls with account managers on key account targets. You will also be accountable for targeting end user accounts to drive sales in your sector and support branch sales. Forming strong bonds with vendors is imperative to ensure growth and support of long term sales. Presenting to end users, participating in sales meetings, tradeshows and management reviews will be a key function of the role. There is an opportunity to move into management.
We are searching for individuals who demonstrate initiative and leadership, enjoy the challenge of solving problems and have the ability to work within a sales and marketing team.
Specifically the successful candidate will have:Some Post-Secondary education.(Degree or Diploma) is preferred. Ability to quickly gain technical knowledge is a key asset. 3-5 years successful outside sales experience in the industrial sector. Experience as sales specialist or manufacturing rep would be preferred.Selling safety products would be ideal. Strong presentation skills and the ability to influence and leverage sales teams. Strategic minded and able to impact many groups internally and externally. Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
- $65K base + $12K-36K/yr.commission (paid monthly) + car allowance + benefits
