Job Description

Membership Coordinator

altisHR is looking for a pro-active and self-directed Membership coordinator to join their client in the non-profit sector. As a coordinator, you will be responsible for servicing clients and renewing memberships. An ideal candidate will come from the non-profit/association sector, and will be comfortable conversing with C-Suite executives. Role and Responsibilities

â?¢ Process new membership applications and follow up to obtain additional information as required
â?¢ Process all renewal payments on a daily basis
â?¢ Coordinate dues billing, prepare regular renewal notices/e-mails, distribute them on a timely basis and follow up regarding collections
â?¢ Assist management with coordinating all aspects of member retention program
â?¢ Monitor, maintain accurate records and re-stock all membership materials
â?¢ Respond to e-mails from members and prospective members or forward to appropriate department when needed
â?¢ Send prospect packages to active non-members on regular basis
â?¢ Make courtesy welcome telephone calls to new members
â?¢ Ensure member requests (phone; e-mail) are completed accurately and on time
â?¢ Prepare lists and manage mailings, e-blasts, faxes for marketing campaigns
â?¢ Prepare lists for external users
â?¢ Manage update of database information based on returned mail and bounce back e-mail/fax (with Administrative support staff help)
â?¢ Update member and prospect records as needed
â?¢ Activate membership transfers and update database
â?¢ Contact members to obtain updates/changes to their records
â?¢ Forward any prospect leads to the Executive Vice-President

Qualifications and Experience

â?¢ MINIMUM 1 year of experience in a memberships/client service role
â?¢ MINIMUM 1 year of experience in a non-profit/association environment
â?¢ Strong customer service skills â?" verbal and written
â?¢ Accuracy and attention to detail
â?¢ Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
â?¢ Ability to establish priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines
â?¢ Self-motivated with the ability to consistently show initiative
â?¢ Bilingualism in French is consi

Salary varies based on experience and credentials. Excellent benefits available from date of hire, and a strict 9am-5pm (or 8:30am-4:30pm) schedule. Flex hours are available if necessary.
