Project Administrator

Accountabilities: The Project Administrator will share the overall accountability for the successful implementation of one or more projects in terms of scope, cost, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction, from initial involvement to completion. to Apply

This includes: ensuring proper documentation is created, maintained and archived. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that the Project Management Methodology and Project Plan is implemented and maintained to support the successful completion of the project.

Specific accountabilities include:
Maintain project information including project files, share point site, project email depository and directory structures;
Maintains project procedures for activity tracking, managing the procedure, create tracking sheets and tracks deliverable status;
Maintain and ensure project schedules reporting are met;
Prepare project status reports to the PM, Head Office;
Document meeting minutes, produce action plans and follow-up on action items;
Maintain financial reporting;
Manage logistics for project related meetings.
Provides overall administrative support to the project

The Project Administrator will ensure effective communication with key project stakeholders, assist in monitoring of project performance and escalates risks and issues to Project Manager to ensure appropriate action is taken.You will be responsible for your personal safety and that of your co-workers by observing all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations. You will be accountable for environmental performance as it relates to the environmental management system processes and initiatives.


Capabilities and Experience: As the successful candidate, you have University degree from an accredited post-secondary institute and/or a recognized project management certification or equivalent experience. You have a solid understanding of project planning with experience in document/records management. You are able to work on multiple projects and manage priorities. You have effective communication and strong organizational skills. You are a self-starter who has the willingness and ability to learn new processes. You have strong analytical and quantitative skills and are attentive to detail. You are a team player with strong interpersonal skills and a sound knowledge of current office procedures and possess proficient typing and computer utilization skills. You have an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).Reports to: Director, Capital Projects
