Call Centre Specailist (#315699)
Our client, a leader in the Alarm Services industry, is looking for Alarm Monitoring Station Representatives to join its Burnaby monitoring centre in a brand new facility. Our client is filling their new hire class for April 21st - interviews will be starting immediately.
The incumbent attends to the signals coming from the client's security systems.
. Attend to alarm signals transmitted to the monitoring station by applying established procedures.
. Dispatch alarm signals to establish emergency services.
. Document the alarm signals treatment into client's file.
. Dispatch calls to the patrol and follow-up.
. Follow-up on processed signals based on each situation.
. Receive and direct client's calls to the appropriate department
. Periodically verify monitoring station equipments for malfunction.
. Other affiliated duties related to the job or upon immediate superior's request.Advantages

. Experience in customer service (in a call center, an asset)
. Experience in the alarm industry (in a call center, an asset)
. High School Diploma
. Computer knowledge
. Stress management, ability to word under pressure
. Interest in growth
. Full availability is required - you will be assigned your permanent shift once you are hired
. Ability to work with different personalities
. Accountable - able to take responsibility and make quick decisions
. Flexibility for working hours: day, evening, night
**Criminal Checks & Security licensing will be required for this role. Fingerprinting and photos at your own cost, during first week of training (roughly $30) and Security licensing paid for by company, renewed yearly**
