A growing national retail chain seeks motivated and positive Assistant Store Managers who have a passion for retail, and are looking for opportunities for growth in a fast paced environment.


Assist the store manager in the day-to-day aspects of store operations including customer service, visual presentation, inventory control and development of staff.

Oversee the store in the absence of the store manager.

Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed.

Participate in store administrative activities as required.

Execute merchandising programs.

Assist the store manager in controlling all expenses.

Ensure the store is always “ready for business” and that staff delivers on corporate merchandising standards.


Minimum 2-4 years retail experience as a dept manager or customer service manager.

Experience in training and developing staff, preparing schedules and supervising a store team.

Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

Excellent communication skills, inter-personal and problem-solving skills.

Exceptional customer service skills.

Upbeat and positive attitude with a hands-on roll up the sleeve mentality.

Post secondary education is considered an asset.


Salary commensurate with experience.
