Municipal Infrastructure Engineer (#274751)

My client is currently searching for an Infrastructure Engineer (Senior) for their office in Southwestern Ontario.

The successful candidate will provide technical expertise on a variety of projects including infrastructure, water, wastewater, transportation, energy, environmental, and asset management projects. Work will involve the design of roads, drainage, watermain, sewers, utilities, and pump stations. The successful candidate will have hands-on involvement in preparing winning proposals, developing project implementation strategies and budgets, and advancing projects from concept, through to design and construction phases. Some project management may be required.

The position has opportunities for advancement.

Requirements

Undergraduate degree in civil engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution
Eligible for professional licensing with PEO
7 to 12 years of experience in design and construction of roads, drainage, watermain, sewers, forcemains, utilities, pump stations, and site servicing
Proven technical expertise
Expertise in applicable design software for design of watermain, sanitary and storm sewers, and roads
Experience in conducting Class Environmental Assessments in Ontario
Project management and business development experience is an asset
