Senior Construction Project Coordinator

Salary: $85K-$100k++

The perfect opportunity for the right individual to take the next step in their career! Our Client is a well-established company in the building industry and they’re looking for a Senior Project Coordinator who knows the field inside out! The chosen candidate will have a minimum of 10+ years of management experience overseeing commercial properties. The ability to complete a project from start to finish as well as your people skills will be an asset in this role. The fostering of relationships with designers, city officials, sub-trades and field supervisory personnel will be of paramount importance for success! You will be working with a dedicated team filled with “down to earth” people. This is a stellar position and requires someone with strong leadership skills to ensure the operation is carried out successfully. Software knowledge in AutoCAD is ideal. Our client is willing to go at a higher salary if the person is a superstar and can really take the ball and run with it!


Primary Duties Include:

·        Perform routine visits to site to monitor progress

·        Communicating with stakeholders as well as, all governing officials

·        Maintaining daily contact with clients in a professional manner

·        Responsible for design input and operating of commercial properties

·        Working closely with programs such as AutoCad to ensure the integrity of projects

·        Leading and motivating people, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, technical, quality, and environmental standards

·        Plans and directs all site activities, leads the entire site work force, coordinates daily work activities, works closely with the project team and client, and manages the sub-contractors

·        Accountable for the overall safety, quality, budget, schedule and progress of all construction activities on their assigned projects

·        Identify elements of the project design and construction likely to give rise to disputes and claims

·        Ensure Project documents are complete

·        Managing incoming mail and emails


Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications:

·        Minimum 10 years of experience

·        Postsecondary education

·        Experience in high-volume subdivision and condominium construction

·        Ability to deal effectively with builders, purchasers’ solicitors, banks, surveyors, Municipalities and other relevant organizations

·        Exceptional communication and client management skills

·        Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision

·        Exceptional organization, communication, and time management skills

·        Strong computer and technical skills (AutoCAD, MSOffice)
