NDT Inspector (#268280)

We're currently seeking an experienced NDT Inspector with a Magnetic Particle Inspection Level II Certificate (bare minimum).

Scope of Work:

-Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager the Non Destructive Testing Inspector is involved in verifying and controlling product quality and related documentation
-The NDT Inspector ensures that quality assurance is in accordance with expectations set out in the Quality Manual, Quality Procedures and Work Instructions and is equal to the requirements in the contract or the ISO9001-94 Standard
-The NDT Inspector provides leadership in quality issues.

Main Duties:

-Assists in the preparation of Quality Plans as appropriate
-Assists in the development of Quality Procedures
-Maintains files for appropriate and relevant quality records
-Assists the QA Manager in delivering training to selected employees
-Verifies processes and product conformance via inspection, testing and monitoring
-Identifies and records non conformance
-Submits recommended solutions to quality problems
-Verifies correction of nonconforming items
-Controls further processing of nonconforming items until the deficiency or unsatisfactory conditions have been disposed
-Ensures that personnel understand inspection procedures and are fully qualified to perform these inspections
-Prepares inspection records required in advance so that inspections can be processed in a timely manner
-Ensures that personnel carry out inspections and testing according to stated procedures
-Collects and inspects all quality records for accuracy
-Maintains inspection/test equipment and ensures that it is accurate and calibrated to stated procedures
-Duties as directed by the Quality Assurance Manager
