About our client
Our client is a leading tier-2 automotive and manufacturing supplier launching their Alberta plant. They are looking for expert Manufacturing Manager, with strong blow molding experience and knowledge to join their rapidly growing team.

Job description
Understand the importance and impact of the quality policy while performing any/all aspects of the Manufacturing Manager designated duties including but not limited to the following:
• Provide leadership for the successful day to day operations of the manufacturing plant
• Coordinate the hiring and training of manufacturing personnel
• Establish and maintain performance standards for operations and ensure the manufacturing organization aligns with the companies vision, purpose and priorities
• Oversee that products are produced on time, are cost effective, are of good quality, and that specified procedures are followed to ensure production quality meets or exceeds standards
• Develop and execute plant manufacturing budgets, monitor operational expenses for cost savings while maintaining quality
• Preparation of all capital project documentation (requests, approvals etc.) coordinate and manage capital engineering and design improvements to the manufacturing facility
• Support a GMP

Who we are looking for

• Minimum 5+ years of production management with injection blow molding experience
• Prior experience in plastic manufacturing required
• Post Secondary education or equivalent preferred
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, as well as strong computer skills in Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook etc.
• Valid Drivers License
