The Opportunity

- Work as part of the estimating team reporting to the manager of estimating. - Review and understand request for quotes, scope of work, drawings and specifications. - Review all request for quote documentation and identify any missing documents. - Set up estimate structure in the estimating program. - Perform detailed take off based on drawings, scope of work, instructions to bidders and specifications. - Work with the supply chain management team to obtain competitive pricing from suppliers. - Work with estimating manager or senior estimator to finalize estimate. - Participate in proposal reviews with a senior estimator or the manager of estimating.

- Industrial electrical or instrumentation estimating experience an asset, but not required as training will be provided. - Three years as a Journeyman electrician with experience in oil and gas, mining and industrial work, and/or - Three years as a Journeyman instrument technician with experience in oil and gas, mining and industrial work, and/or - Electrical engineering or engineering technician degree, and/or - Instrumentation engineering or engineering technician degree.
