Summary:
This position's prime objective is to reduce maintenance costs by improving equipment reliability through the implementation of a predictive maintenance program and to plan, design, coordinate, schedule and supervise corrective maintenance projects assigned by the Maintenance Manager. Responsibility will include the development and follow through of investment projects according to Project Management Guidelines, in line with the HeidelbergCement strategy.

Responsibilities:
? With the Maintenance Planner: Plans, designs and coordinates corrective maintenance projects including developing timelines to maximize the availability of the equipment for plant functioning.
? Provide problem solving and root cause analysis, component design, and scopes of work, planning, coordinating, and scheduling work required, supervision of contractors, ordering materials to ensure project efficiency and success
? Provide guidance to the mechanical maintenance personnel in the repair, maintenance and installations including daily process problem-solving and measurement activities that enable continuous plant operations.
? Proactively manage safety and health of employees to continuously improve the company's safety and health performance.
? Performs Engineering design and review functions in conjunction with other personnel. Duties may include design, performance verification, evaluating proposals, project studies and justifications.
? Responsible for technical documentation management.

Skills and Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree in engineering required, Mechanical engineering discipline strongly preferred.
? Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a plant environment in a maintenance capacity
? Experience working with large rotating heavy industry machinery and equipment
? Ability to communicate with all levels in the organization to achieve plant goals
? Familiarity with Microsoft Office products including MS Excel, Word, Access, and Project
? Demonstrated ability to develop and manage projects
? Knowledge of the principles of predictive, preventive, corrective maintenance and RCFA
? Demonstrated experience in leadership and project management, problem solving and creativity, strategic thinking, and decision making
