Position Description

Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor, the candidate will be responsible for all non-trade payable activities, journal data entry and intercompany balance reporting for Head office. 

Specific Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for processing accounts payable invoices (non-trade). Verifies and validates proper approval according to McKesson delaguation of authority
  2. Reviews expense reports to make sure they comply with McKesson's travel policy.
  3. Validates and matches supplier's statement of account and resolves open transactions.
  4. Responsible for keying journal entries for both period and month end.
  5. Reconciles and prepares Form 980 (Standard Intercompany Journal Entry)
  6. Prepares internal customer invoices.
  7. Prepares account reconciliation as part of the financial statements close process.
  8. Responds internal and external customer requirements.
  9. Informs management of any issues or potential risks.
  10. Participates in special reporting requests and special projects as necessary.

 Requirements

  1. College diploma in Business Administration or Accounting
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar position
  3. Knowledge of Excel, Infinium, SAP (ERP system)
  4. Attention to details and accuracy
  5. Exposure to large company operations
  6. Bilingual
