My client is a leading multi-discipline engineering consulting firm that is provides the highest quality of engineering solutions to the O&G sector. They are looking for an entrepreneurial spirited Project Engineer to join their team.

Job description
We are seeking a Project Engineer, for medium to large projects in the oil and gas industry sectors. Reporting to the VP of Engineering in Calgary, the role will be accountable for the development, execution, supervision, and coordination of all technical aspects of the work while executing it safely, with quality and within schedule and budget objectives.

Who we are looking for

• Recognized Engineering Degree or Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) diploma, with 8 to 10 year's relevant industry experience.
• Strong understanding of multi?discipline engineering delivery and detailed knowledge of the application of engineering processes in oil and gas..
• Understanding of the Engineering Design Systems used on projects.
• Able to actively initiate inter-discipline/department dialogue.
• Able to transfer knowledge and mentor others.
• Able to create a collaborative, team based environment.
• Excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
• Self motivated with minimal supervision and provide direction to Discipline Lead Engineers and Designers.
