About our client
My client is a leading multi-discipline engineering consulting firm that is provides the highest quality of engineering solutions to the O&G sector. They are looking for an entrepreneurial spirited Project Manager to join their team.

Job description

• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
• Effectively apply the highest quality methodology and enforce project standards.
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
• Create and execute project work plans and revisions as appropriate to meet changing needs and client requirements.

Who we are looking for

• Degree in Engineering or a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) diploma, with at least of 8 years
• Must be legally able to work in Canada of relevant experience in project management in oil and gas/petrochemical related industries.
• Qualifications in project management or equivalent.
• Knowledge and/or work experience in both of theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
• knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
• Proven experience in people management.
• Must have a technical background and understand mechanical and chemical engineering and be able to work with differing engineering systems.
• Transloading pipe lines for rail and shipping oil and gas a huge asset
• Exceptional interpersonal skills (displaying superior verbal and written communication skills.), including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Must have strong leadership and organization skills.
