Our client seeks to engage a Human Resources Workforce Analyst who will analyze and complete a variety of Human Resources metrics, benchmarking and survey requests and utilize data manipulation skills to develop “what if” scenarios and perform Human Resources analytics.WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
A Human Resources Workforce Analyst who has a University degree and five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in Human Resources Management.
A Human Resources Workforce Analyst who has displayed strong problem solving skills, modeling, and analytical experience with a capacity for through and accurate compilation of data.
A Human Resources Workforce Analyst who has a good knowledge of Human Resources policies, procedures, and practices as well as thorough knowledge of relevant Federal Legislation. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze and complete a variety of Human Resources metrics , benchmarking, and survey requests.
Generate and maintain statistics (monthly, quarterly, yearly) on a variety of
Human Resources metrics (Scorecard) and analyze the results for the purpose of reporting and providing recommendations or information.
Utilize data manipulation skills to develop “what if” scenarios and perform Human Resources analytics.
Perform resource demographic analysis, including supply trending and projections.
Monitor effectiveness of resource forecasting process, and provide continuous improvement recommendations.
Conduct research, benchmarking, data anaylsis and report preparation on the key demographic employment data and characteristics (for example, average age, gender, occupational groups, skills) as well as, workforce trends (such as, overtime worked, retirement eligibility, turnover and vacation rates etc. )
Assist with the development of a corporate-wide long-term forecasting process.
Lead HR process mapping for improvements and efficiency.
Lead process improvement initiatives. REQUIREMENTS:
A University degree and five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in Human Resources Management including:
- Organizational development
- Compensation and benefits
- Employee relations
- Statistical analysis
An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience is also acceptable.
Strong problem solving, modeling, and analytical skills and a capacity for thorough and accurate compilation of data.
Translate analytical results into conclusions and recommendations.
Data collection, problem analysis, and solution creation.
Analyze, review and revise Human Resources policies, procedures, and processes.
Perform root cause analysis to identify underlying issues with a process.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to cope in a changing environment with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
Advanced skills with Microsoft’s Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with PeopleSoft is considered an asset.
Solid understanding of Human Resources policies, procedures, and practices, as well as, knowledge of relevant Federal legislation such as,
Canada Labour Code, Human Rights Code, etc.
Solid project management experience.
Internal consulting skills, including conducting cross-discipline meetings.
Operate as a team player with minimal supervision.
Self-motivated and self-directed.
Influence and collaboration skills across all levels and various business functions.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) which includes writing skills in order to review, revise and communicate HR policies, processes, and procedures.
Present complex issues in a simple, yet factual manner.
Strong math skills and experience in statistical analysis methods.
Completed, enrolled in or eligible for CHRP designation. COMPENSATION:
