Role Mandate: The store set-up team is responsible for executing the end-to-end process in merchandising, marketing and operations for renovations, conversions and new store builds. . Must be able to work in various locations around the province, but not limited to one city or area. Some travel is required to other locations across the country. Travel is up to 90%. . Mobile and able to work flexible hours including nights, evenings, weekends and holidays. Hours can sometimes range in excess of 40+/week . Must have access to a reliable vehicle and possession of a valid Driver's Licence . Must be able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis and be able to stand/work on your feet for prolonged periods . Safety equipment must be adhered to at all times including steel toed shoes/boots and a hard helmet . Colleagues must represent the Company in a professional manner at all times, as well as act as a liaison between the company, our customers and the community
. Responsible for setting up shelving and merchandising products according to planograms . Ensure all timelines for each project are met and are adhered to . Ensure pricing integrity is implemented for store openings and labels are in place . Ensure that there is a clean and safe environment during a renovation for our customers . Execute all backroom initiatives including the flow of goods
Job Qualifications: . Experience in a retail store with strong operational knowledge; produce knowledge is an asset . Strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and problem-solving skills . High organizational skills and ability to multi-task . Ability to work in a fast-paced environment . Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
