Manager, Regional Service
Toronto, ON

Our client is a leader in medical and safety technology. They have asked Kelly Noelle of Lock Search Group to help them find a Manager, Regional Service to join their team in Toronto, ON.

The Manager, Regional Service is responsible for managing activities in the assigned region to develop and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and achievement of budgets, while ensuring consistent application of company strategies, policies and procedures.


  • Establish and implement an annual business plan consistent with the overall objectives of the Service organization and the Company.
  • Develop business strategies and supportive programs for service region.
  • Manage regional activities to achieve budget targets. This includes but is not limited to generating revenue, controlling expenses, maintaining inventory at budgeted levels and managing company assets.
  • Hire, train, evaluate and direct the activities of field service personnel in the assigned region.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance to targets and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Establish, maintain and continuously improve customer satisfaction within the region.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards and processes.
  • Work with Regional Sales Managers to develop joint sales/service account strategies.
  • Maintain contacts with major accounts in coordination with the Account Managers/Regional Sales Managers.


  • Technical or business degree preferred
  • Must Have: track record of success in a Service organization for a minimum of 5 years acceptable in lieu of degree
  • Must Have: Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Service role and demonstrated success in implementing effective customer service solutions
  • Must Have: Minimum 2 years previous experience in a leadership role required
  • Must Have: a strong technical background
  • Experience with medical devices strongly preferred
  • Proficient with MS office suite; experience with SAP a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and customer focus a must.
  • Bilingual (English - French)
  • Position requires travelling up to 60% of the time.
