Senior Manager, Talent Management & Diversity

The Senior Manager, Talent Management & Diversity reports to the Senior Director, Talent Management & Recruitment and is a key member of the team to drive the overall strategic direction of Talent Management and Diversity.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Leads a team of Talent Management and Diversity Program Managers.  As a team you will be responsible for the end to end Talent Management process, including design enhancements, communication, education/training, program roll-out and collection of enterprise wide data
  • Works with the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) community to ensure the Talent process aligns to business goals and objectives
  • In collaboration with CHRO, sets talent review process timelines and communicates key dates to stakeholders
  • Works with HRBPs to capture workforce plan data and ensure it is embedded into the talent playbook
  • Collects, analyzes and collates talent data across all lines of business to provide an enterprise wide view
  • Links Diversity to the Talent agenda and analyzes talent data with a diversity lens
  • Facilitates with the HRBPs the collection of development plans and the movement of talent across functions
  • Build and track succession plans at the senior leadership levels, work with HRBPs to identify key risk areas and ensure communication between talent acquisition, HRBPs and business on building talent pipelines
  • Evaluate and implement when appropriate technology to facilitate the collection and safe keeping of talent review data
  • Maintains and handle sensitive data on talent and diversity with discretion and confidentially at all times
  • Conducts post-mortem on annual cycle with a goal towards process improvement
  • Research and keep current on talent management best practices and industry trends
  • Measure track and report on talent management metrics and scorecard
  • Leads HR initiatives relating to Diversity and is the liaison between HR and the diversity council
  • Ensures alignment of HR strategy to the diversity strategy overall
  • Lead the management of the Leadership Insights Program for existing and new Executives

Qualifications:

  • University degree with concentration in business/Human Resources and/or CHRP or equivalent experience
  • Proven ability to dialogue effectively and build strong client relationships with senior executives
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources
  • Experience as a Human Resources Business Partner is an asset
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership and mentoring a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to use tools such as PowerPoint and Excel

Travel Requirements: Up to 10%
