Lead Web Designer
An amazing opportunity has opened up in the Flight Centre Creative Studio team for a Lead Web Designer specializing in brand management. The creative team is responsible for the production of brand accurate artwork across multiple channels for all FCTG brands. Working closely with Marketing, the role presents unlimited growth potential in the areas of web design, graphic design and creative brand strategy. The position will be full time Monday - Friday onsite at Flight Centre's downtown Vancouver head office.
The Successful Applicant will have proven:

  • A diploma or degree in web/graphic design or equivalent work experience
  • Web design experience (Minimum 5 years)
  • Experience working with corporate brand management (Minimum 2 years)
  • Proficiency in a Mac environment using Adobe CC
  • Ability to produce creative ideas and solutions for online marketing projects
  • Experience in generating hand-coded HTML files from Photoshop files utilizing a combination of nested table structures and inline CSS for email newsletters
  • Experience testing email newsletters across multiple platforms, browsers and email clients (Outlook, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.)
  • Ability to produce online creative in accordance to brand style guidelines
  • Strong web production skills
  • Experience creating emails and email templates for Campaign Monitor is a bonus
  • Ability to manage projects from brief to completion
  • Print production skills are desirable: prepress, file output and photo manipulation
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented, ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure
  • Determination to succeed and personal drive
  • Adaptable and open to change
  • Excel in a team environment
