Overview of the Position
Reporting to the Advertising Manager, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the development and execution of Company retail marketing events, tradeshows and sponsorships, in accordance with the Marketing Calendar. As main point of contact for these marketing initiatives, you will work with cross-functional organizational teams and external business partners to develop collateral, communicate information, and occasionally attend events. As a member of the Sales team, you will provide support to team members in other areas and help with the execution and administration of departmental projects and Company marketing tactics.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Post-secondary education in a related field, marketing preferred
- 2-3 years’ experience
- Excellent communications skills, including writing, proof reading and speaking
- Project management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple assignments
- Be self-motivated and creative
