Demand Planner

Our client a progressive organization within the consumer packaged goods industry has an immediate requirement for an experienced Demand Planner.  You possess a minimum of two to four years experience within demand planning/analytical/systems coupled with a Bachelors/University Degree.  The key mandate of this role is to develop and maintain a 'by customer' by item demand plan using statistical tools, intelligence gathering and internal external collaboration.  The Demand Planner will facilitate and manage the demand plan process on a weekly, monthly and as needed basis.  The Demand Planner is responsible for the Demand Plan and the consensus Demand Plan which is achieved by combining the statistical forecast with adjustments and promotions. 

The Demand Planner will be required to track performance and provide analysis of actual versus demand plan.  Work closely with sales, channel marketing and product line manager to identify trends and refine the demand plan.  Develop and maintain 12 month promotional calendar in conjunction with sales and marketing.  Controlling communicating and administering new item introductions as required.  Function as team member of S&OP process.  Maintain KPI"s of forecast accuracy and bias support of KPI improvement.  Assist in the allocation of short products in conjustion with marketing and supply chain leaders.  Provide analysis and support for SKU rationalization.

Qualifications:

Bachelors/University Degree

2-4 years experience in a similar role.

Experience with SAP is required APO Demand Planning Software is an asset.

Proficient with MS Office applications.

Strong project management skills

Highly organized self starter.

Salary range: $50,000.00 to $55,000.00
