As part of the International Banking- Consumer Insights & Strategy, you will be responsible for managing marketing analytics projects and insight generation using statistical analysis and data mining techniques under the guidance of the Senior Manager Advanced Analytics and Modeling
. Customer Segmentation
You will be responsible for identifying key customer segments using data mining techniques and analyzing the customer base across all product lines and all International Banking countries in Caribbean and Latin America to define varying segments including Market, Life Stage, Value and Behaviour segmentation.
. Advanced Analytics and Predictive Modelling
You will be expected to manage an array of modelling projects from requirement definition to production delivery of modelling programs in Caribbean and Latin America. This will require you to meet with relevant business lines to define project parameters. Project will range from segmentation to event trigger development to campaign related deliverables
. Model Risk and Vetting
You will be responsible for managing the model risk and vetting and demonstrating to the Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics that all protocols, documentation and validation are in place
. Marketing Data Marts:
You will play a key role in the development and maintenance of IBs Marketing Data Marts, including acting as a SME in the data mart build process and a key liaison with the teams in the country. The incumbent should identify and investigate any data anomalies and provide recommendations for addressing same
. Program support
You will be required to support IB strategic initiatives and programs with segmentation, analysis, customer assignment, sustainment, reporting and measurement
. Other duties as assigned:
Other ad hoc assignments or special projects from the Senior Manager Advanced Analytics and Modelling or the Director Advanced Customer Analytics in order to contribute to IB strategic initiatives.
. Degree in statistics, operational research, math or engineering
. Strong theoretical knowledge and practical understanding of statistical analysis and techniques
. Excellent knowledge of banking products, direct marketing processes
. Advanced skills in SAS, proficient in SQL
. Excellent problem solving and analytic skills
. Experience and creativity in data mining
. Strong verbal and written communication skills
. Proven capability of communicating technical concepts to business partners
. Spanish language is an asset but not required
