Find The Career You Have Been Looking For

The Operational Business Processes Analyst will support the management, optimization, cost reduction and performance accountability strategy.  This role will provide technical expertise for performance analysis within the Infrastructure, Logistics & Project Controls (IL&PC) area including facilities maintenance, camp maintenance, aviation, road maintenance and janitorial.  

You will have the opportunity to improve business processes for a variety of business units by identifying, proposing and implementing solutions to decrease costs and manage operational processes more effectively/efficiently. This role is part of a fast paced and dynamic team whose contributions will continue to grow along with the company. 

This position is based in Fort McMurray, Alberta and is eligible for:
. Relocation to Calgary or Fort McMurray
. Company Sponsored Fly-In/Fly-Out and Accommodations Program with charter flights from Calgary or Edmonton


. Assist in developing procedures that drive accountabilities amongst the IL&PC leadership
. Assist in the development and  management of cost control methodologies
. Measure and develop performance KPIs to improve management discipline
. Identify and exploit opportunities to generate efficiencies and reduce costs
. Maintain reports from E1 and DAS, with regular review and analysis of business results
. Develop reports on progress & performance, forecast to go, forecast at completion
. Prepare and upload AFEs in AFE NAV for management review and approvals
. Compare and analyze contractors' bids against in house estimates and providing recommendations
. Provide assistance to contracts team in change management/change orders
. General support of the IL&PC operations budgeting, sustaining capital and forecasting 

. Typically 5+ years of related industry experience with cost, budgets, production measures and forecasting with relevant post-secondary degree in business or related technical diploma
. Familiarity with and understanding of:
   o EnterpriseOne, DAS, DAP, Maximo
   o The Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel
   o Setting up and maintaining a project management cost system
