FFUN Group is an entrepreneurial, Saskatoon-based holding company with businesses in various industries in Saskatchewan, Alberta and Ontario, specializing in retail automotive and motorsport sales and service. FFUN Groupowns and operates several new and used vehicle dealerships consisting of the Acura, VW, Hyundai, Kia and Ford brands. FFUN’s motor sport business includes Redline Harley-Davidson, Harley Davidson Yorkton, The Rock Harley Davidson and FFUN Motor Sports in Saskatoon and Yorkton representing the iconic brands of Harley-Davidson, BRP, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Triumph, BMW and Ducati. FFUN provides marketing services to these dealerships as a centralized resource. FFUN Group is inviting applications for the position of “Online Marketing Specialist”.

 

The Online Marketing Specialist under the direction of the Director of Marketing will primarily be responsible creating, developing and launching social media and pay-per click marketing campaigns, monitoring website performance and recommending enhancements. The Online Marketing Specialist will develop marketing campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team and General Managers to fully meet the dealerships’ needs and objectives. This individual will also analyze campaigns and advertisements to determine their success, and develop reports and presentations detailing areas of opportunity and growth for future online campaigns. Optimize media spend making real-time adjustments to ads, targeting, and bidding, on social & car ad buying platforms. Analyze media spend datasets to create weekly reports gauging how FFUN is tracking against key campaign targets. Track key metrics across multiple data sources to measure media campaign effectiveness. Develop strategic metrics-based media and marketing programs supporting FFUN dealerships on social channels

 

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with ad serving & tracking technologies (e.g. DFA, Facebook Power Editor,      Google AdWords for Web & Video, etc.)
  • Extensive knowledge of analytics/reporting social tools (YouTube Analytics, Facebook      Insights)
  • Proficient working with Microsoft Office application, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Passion and deep knowledge of social media platforms and the online space
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Possesses knowledge and experience in traditional marketing. Marketing degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in Social Media.
  • Proficient in content marketing theory and application.
  • Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound.
  • Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
  • Enjoys a working knowledge of the blogging ecosystem relevant to the retail environment.
  • Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format.
  • Exceeds at building and maintaining sales relationships, online and off.
  • A team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary through content development, creation and editing of content, and online reputation management.
  • Has good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research. Highly knowledgeable in the principles of “Search and Social”.
  • Demonstrates winning Social Customer Service techniques.
  • Possesses great ability to identify potentially negative or crisis situations and will apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues.
  • 3-5 years of experience in interactive marketing with specific experience in pay-per click and social media marketing.
