Electrical Project Engineer - Manufacturing (#25572)We are currently seeking an Electrical Project Engineer for a well-established client of ours in Winnipeg.
The successful candidate will assume responsibility for the design, installation and start-up of equipment associated with various Capital projects.
Job Description:
The Project Engineer will also provide technical support to the production and maintenance groups. Designing machine modifications and trouble-shooting equipment-related problems with the aim of improving overall safety, quality and productivity.
Qualifications for this position include:
-B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering: professional designation preferred, with a minimum of five (5) years relevant experience.
-Project-oriented: able to develop and maintain project time lines and budgets for major capital projects: ability to supervise and motivate others, including subcontractors, in a team environment.
-Experience designing and improving electrical equipment, facilities, and systems within an industrial environment.
-Good understanding of plastic extrusion and converting equipment is an asset.
-Engineering Technologists with relevant experience may also be considered.
