Project Analyst - 18727 (#26115)

Our client is seeking a Project Analyst for their Calgary location.

In this role, you will work closely with the project's Services Team to assist in the coordination and execution of project planning and support activities across a portfolio of projects.

You will also support the awareness and document the team's completion of key Project Lifecycle Gating Control (PLGC) deliverables throughout the lifecycle of the project, while also supporting the documentation of project compliance to Government regulatory legislation is adhered to.

You will actively participate in ensuring that company projects achieve their long-term business strategies and objectives in adherence to all applicable laws, regulations and other legal requirements in all jurisdictions in which it operates, as well as compliance with internal policies and procedures.

Specific Accountabilities:

- Conducts and supports project analytics and reporting requirements including dashboard and management reporting
-Collect, analyze, and distribute project performance metrics and maintain the teams annual scorecard
- Development and updating of project and functional plans and procedures
- Coordinate and manage the lessons learned collection and distribution process, as well as conduct quarterly lessons learned workshops with the project team
- Maintain the Decision Record Database across the multiple projects in the portfolio
- Coordinate and facilitate Cold Eye Reviews as required
- Create summaries of contractual information to communicate and highlight key contract components such as critical dates, customer expectations, specifications or conditions
- Development of materials for presentations to senior management and executive levels
- Coordinate and facilitate project team lunch and learns
- Development of project summaries for distribution to the team and support teams
- Support Operational Readiness of projects at completion and through various reviews in the lifecycle process
- Communication and liaison with groups outside of Core Project team, and other consultants as required
- Identify project performance trends and recommend strategies to improve the overall project performance
- Addresses special requests for project based information and data analysis
- Additional reporting requirements as needed

Qualifications

- A degree (BComm or other) with a minimum of 2 to 5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be a proactive self starter and have high attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to respond to and anticipate information needs and present that information in a clear concise manner
- Ability to effectively prioritize a heavy workload, bringing forward well developed recommendations to the Project Management Team
- Must be able to work with a team dispersed over multiple locations
- Previous Oil & Gas and/or Reporting and Analytics experience an asset
