Responsibilities

Coordinate resource scheduling and monitoring with the Project Managers for multiple projects and business requirement demands from the development team.

Lead, supervise, and mentor development resources. (Internal + external resources)

Review and implement technical designs and requirements.

Responsible for the overall systems development life cycle, including code review and adherence of enterprise policies.

Execute & supervise the release of new applications, enhancements and/or upgrades

Work with architecture teams, solutions design teams and other development teams for all deliverables (Planning, execution and delivery)

Proactive identification and resolution of problems and known errors to minimize issues or outages

Provide support – break/fix and enhancements of existing systems

Executive level status, tracking and overall progress reporting.

Requirements
Experience

At least 2 years of experience as a team lead in managing resource planning, work break down scheduling, technical reviews, team supervision, ensuring work is completed on time and per requirements.

Strong track-record of delivering small to mid-scale projects with cross-functional teams

Minimum 5 years experience in application development, systems integration with the ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies.

Adept at conducting research into software related issues and products

Proven ability to adapt to constantly evolving priorities; ability to multi-task in a time sensitive environment

Proven analytical and problem solving abilities

High attention to detail and ability to test own work. Capable of completing development work with minimal supervision

Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment; Works effectively with different stakeholders, including business, architecture and operations

Technical/Skills:

Extensive database and operating systems experience; hands-on trouble shooting experience

Self-motivated and able to work independently

Excellent technical writing / documentation skills

In-depth knowledge in relevant technical areas such as Java/J2EE, web development, JSP w/ JSTL, HTML/JavaScript/JQuery/CSS, JDBC and Relational Databases (Oracle or SQL Server)

Technical competency in the following would be an asset: C#/.NET, SOA, Spring Framework, Hibernate, Perl/Shell scripting, UNIX,, XML, AJAX, Eclipse IDE, Ant, Subversion, Tomcat/WebSphere
