Position Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta.

Syncrude Canada Ltd, Refinery Maintenance is seeking a Journeyman Millwrights. The successful candidates will be members of the Refinery Maintenance team responsible for plant maintenance in Hydroprocessing, Conversion and U&O.

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Work safely with minimum supervision

Qualifications

  • Alberta Journey certificate or Interprovincial "Red Seal" Millwright's certificate
  • Grade 12 or GED equivalent
  • A valid Drivers License

Other desirable assets include:
  • Knowledge and experience in the maintenance of rotating equipment, pumps, pulleys and gearbox assemblies
  • Trade and equipment related training
  • Maintenance and trouble shooting experience
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • These are full-time permanent positions located in Fort McMurray
