ScreeningRoom » Applicant List
The Applicant List is a listing of all job seekers that have applied to your job postings via the workopolis.com Apply Now button.
Q: Do I need a Username and Password to access the Applicant List?
A: Yes. A Username and Password is required for all ScreeningRoom functions.
Q: Who else has access to this list?
A: workopolis.com only issues one Username and Password per company. This is the Admin User. The Admin User has the ability to create additional Users and issue Username and Passwords within your company. Only those within your company who have valid Usernames and Passwords issued by the Admin User can access this list. For more on the topic, see Administrative Only Functions.
Q: How are the applicants sorted?
A: By default, the applicants in this list are sorted by name - last name first, then first name. You can sort the applicants by any of the column headings in both ascending and descending order by clicking on that column heading. The column headings include: Candidate Name, Job Applied For, Most Recent Job Title, Top 3 Skills and Apply Date.
Q: My company has 15 jobs posted. Is there a quick way for me to see only those who have applied to a particular posting?
A: Yes. At the top of the Applicant List there is a Job Title pull-down menu. This pull-down menu lists the Job Titles of all your company's job postings. To display only those who have applied to one particular position, select that Job Title from this pull-down menu and click on View.
Q: How to I see someone's resumé?
A: Click directly on the candidate's name to view his/her resumé.
Q: How do I move someone to My Shortlist?
A: Select the candidate. At the bottom of the page, click on Add to My Shortlist.
Q: What is the pull-down menu beside Add to My Shortlist and what does Unfiled mean?
A: You can create multiple Folders within My Shortlist. If you have already created Folders, you can move a candidate directly into a Folder from the Applicant List by selecting the candidate, selecting the Folder name from the pull-down menu and clicking on Add to My Shortlist. Unfiled means that the candidate will be moved to My Shortlist but not assigned to a particular Folder.
Q: How do I delete candidates from the Applicant List?
A: Only the Admin User can perform this task. The Admin User can select the candidate and click on the Delete Candidate button at the bottom of the page.
