What is an Auto Acknowledgement e-mail?
An Auto Acknowledgement e-mail is an automated message sent to each job seeker after they apply to a job through the ScreeningRoom™.
What does the message say?
The following default system message will be sent to job seekers when they apply through the ScreeningRoom. This e-mail message will be sent from a Workopolis e-mail address.
From: firstname.lastname@example.org for English job postings, email@example.com for French job postings
Subject: Thank you for submitting your application to #COMPANY#
Your application for the position of #JOB# has been received.
This automated message has been sent on behalf of #COMPANY# by #SITE_TYPE#. Replies to this message are not forwarded.
#COMPANY# will be contacting successful applicants directly.
Thank you for your application!
#APPLICANT# is replaced by the candidate's first name
#JOB# is replaced by the job title of the position to which the candidate applied
#COMPANY# is replaced by your company name as it appears on workopolis.com
#SITE_TYPE# is replaced by workopolis.com
What if I don't want any message sent?
This option can be disabled by contacting our Business Support team.
Customers who have purchased an enhanced job posting package (Classic, Prestige, Select or Elite) have the option to disable this function from the Admin Section. This can only be done by a Level 1 (Admin) user.
What if I want the message to be different?
Customers who have purchased an enhanced job posting package (Classic, Prestige, Select or Elite) have the option to create a customized message. The message can be changed only by a Level 1 (Admin) user.
I've posted a confidential job, is an auto-acknowledgement sent?
Yes, an auto-acknowledgement message is sent. A version of the default message will be sent to all candidates applying to a confidential job. In this version, the company name will not appear. It will be replaced by No Company Specified.
