Q: How long will my job posting run?
A: Each SinglePost Basic job posting is on workopolis.com for 30 days.
Q: Do I need a Username and Password to post a job?
A: A Username and Password is not required to post your jobs. You will be issued and Username and Password so that you can enter the ScreeningRoom.
Q: What is the ScreeningRoom?
A: The ScreeningRoom is the place where we collect all the resumés from the applicants who have applied to your postings. The ScreeningRoom has many features which allow you to sort, filter, search, rank and shortlist the applicants. For more on the ScreeningRoom try the QuickStart.
Q: Does access to the ScreeningRoom expire at the same time as the posting?
A: No. You will have an additional 7 days to review the applicants.
Q: What if I don't want the hiring company name revealed?
A: To do this include all of your billing information in the top part of the form. In the second part of the form fill in the Name of Company Hiring box as "Confidential" or "No Company Specified in Ad".
Q: How soon will my job posting be posted on the workopolis community?
A: Job postings received before 5 p.m. (Eastern Time) Monday to Friday will be posted on the next business day.

A: As long as you would like it to be. A well-written posting should give the candidate sufficient information to determine if they have a skills-fit. In a competitive job market, the job posting should also give valuable candidates a compelling reason to join your industry and specifically, your company.
Q: How can I find my job posting?
A: Do a keyword search and type in your company name. This is an easy way to find all jobs your company has posted.
Q: How do I ensure that my job posting appears in a Career Focus section?
A: To ensure that your job posting can be searched through Career Focus, use the Career Focus search to look at where you want your posting to appear. Use the same keywords in your job posting that are used for that Career Focus search. Note that many Career Focus searches target job title only. This means that you may have to use those terms within the job title of your posting. You can always describe further within the text of the posting the details of the position.
Career Focus is a very useful area for job seekers as it contains the most commonly or typically searched jobs, but it is not the entirety of workopolis.com. Job seekers also use the many search options available on the main search page.
