-Unrealistic table sections if anyone wants to have time to give good service when it’s busy
-If you have a good manager on, you are in good hands for support, but still far from the ideal situation if you value timely service even a little. 
- Tips on cash out no where near what you actually get paid. Tip pool culture which is great, but don’t bother asking where the money goes and how it’s distributed because they can’t even tell employment standards branch that cup of tea. 
- It’s such a beautiful restaurant and would do so well if the owner cared about employees at least to a minimum. After all, that’s what keeps it going right?

Having spent over a year working for restaurant group, I was able to see a lot of different stations. The upper management completely lacked effective communication skills. If you enjoy being micro managed and being told how to do things 5 different ways, then this might be a good fit. Staff is expected to work extremely long hours and overtime isn’t paid! Taking a break is unheard of and I often ate a meal over top of a garbage can. I would not recommend working here. 

I’ve never worked with such an incompetent management team in my entire life. The only reason most people used to work here was for the family  environment despite the fact that servers weren’t making their own tips and getting ripped off during the summer, but that environments gone to trash with new management who real screwed up the place.  Great place to learn about service industry, but don’t get stuck there

10 acres was the most inconsistent place I have ever worked. Paychecks never came in on time, people would not show up all the time, no room for advancement or raises, or appreciation of time spent and overall effort. The only thing that made it worth it was the coworkers, the management sucked and the turnover was insane. I strongly advise that if you or anybody you know is looking for a place to work this is not a job or environment that you want to be in.

Walk to work.Zero useful support staff. Leave feeling abused.

Zero support, too many tables to manage alone.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very Stressful in what could have been an enjoyable environment

Unsafe equipment. This company will burn you out and replace you.  Getting time off is unheard of. You will be judged for asking for time off for medical leave.
Does not document work injuries, for your own sake work anywhere else.

my coworkers are great and fun to hang with but thats the only good thing about this place. people constantly get fired for no reason. good people. nobody feels safe working here. evil upper management and owner. never gotten my full tips that my cashout says and they only pay out on checks.

No support from upper management whatsoever. I was expected to do everything and offered no support. Expected to work the job of 3 people. People constantly got fired for little reason. Owner talks bad about people behind their backs but does little to solve problems.

It’s a very nice restaurant in a great location, the managers are quite nice. The food is 50% off on the days you’re working. I don’t know what’s it’s like to work in the kitchen, but front of house is quite nice. We do get a little under staffed but it’s not terrible

They need to properly train people and not expect people to know what they are doing in one day or two. The communication needs to be better. The customers were awesome
