The current management team struggles to promote from a lens of experience but rather if they like you or not. There are cliques and the workplace is toxic. You will be ostracized for thinking differently and questioning practices. There have been many changes to the space and it has led to a hostile work environment. 

It's a great place to get your first frontline experience but treat this as a transitional job in your career.

A noticeable turnover rate has been shown across the frontline staff which isn't attributed to client interactions or the work involved. The increase stems from the oppressive work environment frontline staff is subjected to, perpetrated by management.

Not being able to fully help all youth 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Great work environment, constant professional development 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Goes by pretty smoothly. Work  by with youth to help them transition to a more promising future.

Organization tries to hire from within - but also hires outside as well. Everyone seems collaborative and fun. Management really cares about youth and ensuring they do good on them to take care of them and go above and beyond. Pay isn't bad but could be better (at least I'm salaried).  They pay 100% of our benefits (no co pay) so that's great. 3 weeks paid vacation plus your birthday off.

The work itself was easy and manageable. I loved my team but management was horrible, they act nice to your face but you will soon find out about all the gossiping behind your back. The salary was trash, but if you're just trying to get your foot into the career or if you're just bored and trying to make side cash then its an ok start.

Management didn’t care about there employees needs. They were more concerned about the funders and how good they looked and treated there employees not very good. We cared about the clients however management made it very difficult for us. Ultimately, all the good employees ended up leaving due to her burnout.

Cons:
- lack of support form higher ups. 
- quality of effort is overseen for numbers. 
- gas is not compensate when running errands for program. 

Pros: 
- working with kids to set individual goals 
- working with children as a whole to life each individual self-esteem 
- sitting down with them 
- rewarding 
- amazing staff.

Honestly the best environment to work. Super supportive staff team, topped by a supportive management team. The CEO even made a point to get involved with staff if support was needed. Very positive work done with clients, true caring and effort. 

Some of the staff there were nice and the kids were reasonably taken care of. But the managers and others on the team were extremely hostile and rude, spent endless time berating their fellow workers, talking badly to bosses with impunity. Overall a horrible experience. 

I was a volunteer at 360 so I’m not sure about actually getting paid but I can say hands down one of my favourite places to be . When you go home the gratification you get from feeling like you made a difference is amazing

Save yourself the time and money you’ll need for therapy after. Mgmt does not care  about you whatsoever. You will lose so much money as they do not reimburse you all of the time. Most miserable time of my life. Soul draining
