Aside from 3 employees who I would deem as "lifers", the tech team is expendable and nothing lasts at 365. I have watched 6-10 terminations on their tech team alone and the longest any tech can expect to work there is 2-3 years before termination.

A typical work day will begin with you arriving at 8AM. You can expect that you will be bombarded with tickets, many of which will be above the industry standard for your role/tier, and then be made to be accountable for any of the mistakes. You will be expected to both be personable with clients by speaking with them directly and answer a minimum number of phone calls a day. Once your day is finished, you're still not done! Management will assign you courses to take so you can improve yourself/your skillset. You will not receive work time to do so, and you are expected to do so on your own time to fit into their core values of growth.

You will learn a lot while at 365. The environment is very much adapt or die. You will be handling anywhere from 20-30 tickets on average a day, as well as phone calls. As there is scarcely any T2 and T3 technicians, you will be expected to learn their jobs and try to manage as a faux T2 as much as possible. Great opportunities to learn because of this, but the tradeoff is management will not understand why you failed.

Workplace culture has all but died at 365 Technologies. Management and other departments will often work at home and not be present within the office. The techs who are forced to be there in the office will be babysat typically by 1 member of management. Committees exist and company events are held every so often, but they are very watered down events made to keep up the illusion that there is a culture (think events like company pizza parties, etc.)

The final takeaway is 365can be good for a few years, but do not count on them to allow you to make a permanent name for yourself. Management will expect you to do more and more for them. The leadership for the techs has zero background in tech, and they believe that someone can lead a team of technicians with zero background in technology. If they smell any bit of burnout, they will throw you on performance improvement plans and they will make up areas of improvement. They will set dates to meet, but middle management is so overwhelmed you will never meet. Then months later, they will let you go asking why you haven't improved.

Since starting at 365tech, I have grown exponentially. The people I work with are truly a group of wonderful individuals, who are extremely willing to help and they do it with a smile. The upper management, amazing people, they truly have a vision that one wants to follow and they are a few steps above the rest. This is a company that cares and has your best interest at heart.

I roll in about 45 minutes early so I can have a few cups of coffee while getting ready for the shift. I like to greet everyone as they come in. Once we get started, the communication flows really well which makes the job easier. Management sets clear expectations and follows up regularly to ensure our success.

365 Technologies is a place that makes you want to get up in the morning to go and put in your absolute best. It is a place where you will learn something new everyday; a place that enables you to reach your professional goals; and is a place where you feel part of a team that works hard to achieve professional success - and you are rewarded accordingly. 

Management genuinely cares about your well being - work/life balance. Growth is promoted at every level. They see you as a human. I have never worked for a company that shows they value you so much

Pay is bottom tier. Benefits are base.

Employee retention is not a concern. Anyone with any skill or ability leaves within a year or two. 

Management is frequently micromanaging and passive aggressive. Everyone gets talked down to especially if your English isn't perfect as in people newer to Canada.

Company is great workplace, friendly colleagues, so much to learn, fast paced environment and exciting challenges inside the workplace. Great company to start in IT world.

I've been employed here nearly four years and I can't see myself leaving. Management is willing to provide the right tools to achieve your work and personal goals.
