Where do I start? The job was abysmal, boring and unfulfilling, and on top of that, you get payed not enough to cover basic living expenses, like food, shelter, and clothing.

So you get treated like garbage , in a toxic workplace, for not enough money to live on. Everybody else is in the same situation, so no one is happy. If you've heard the term toxic workplace thrown around alot recently, this is exactly what they're talking about. A place where no one wants to be there, the pay might just pass for a living wage, if you're lucky. Really youll be putting up with a lot of stress, alot of extra work, for absolutely nothing in return.

In addition to all this, you'll be in a place, no one really wants to be . So the few people there will be faking this 'false positivity' attitude, trying to force themselves to enjoy being there. Which you can't do. So if you know what's good for you , stay away. The wages aren't enough. You'll be mistreated, overworked, for a chance to make a few bucks , for a paycheck that won't support you. Save your sanity.

When I was hired at 7AC, I was promised the world and for a time it looked possible - promotion out of probation with hints at high likelihood of another within the year.. Within months, all hope of a prosperous and fulfilling career was lost as almost our entire management team was abruptly offered termination or demotion and all order, employee respect, planning, coordination and passion was thrown to the wayside. Decisions became made solely on the basis of short term profit, neglecting employees and the product that they passionately grew - driving down the quality of cannabis and quality of employees lives. I lost 1 year to a bad company; don’t make the same mistake. 

Don’t work here. You are basically a slave to a large company that doesn’t care about you (or the quality of the product either). They will treat you like a slave and just another number while expecting you to go above and beyond. If your not friends with upper management, who seem as though they’ve never managed anything before in their life, you won’t get a promotion, even if you are really good at your job. They gave a position they promised me to one of their friends that had 0 qualifications. They have slowly killed the passion of nearly everyone working there. Don’t be one of them. So sad that such a promising company could turn so abysmal so quickly. 

I am being 100% sincere and honest when I say the culture feels very unionized.  People have been and continue to be coddled by HR and H&S so bad that the company has raised a bunch of adult babies.  I enjoy working there however the bending and breaking  to every whine and cry an employee is extremely wearing on the mental state.  I am not
A disgruntled employee either I just want to give the most honest review I can.  Fantastic benefits package and 10 paid sick days, your birthday off paid plus vacation allowance.

The new GM is more of a dictator, sits behind desk and watches cameras without going to floor. Comes down hard on employees taking a rest. Terminated several employees but kept ones that add no value to the business...communications. Let’s keep paying people to make internal posters that will help sell weed. 7ACRES use to be a family and well liked; now ppl there are just a number and the GM favours certain ppl and offers job security. Upper mgmt is very inappropriate and lack manufacturing knowledge. No respect to anyone there, no advancement and they lie right to your face. 

Toxic atmosphere. Management/ Team Leads are a joke (although they are clearly just getting thrown around by upper management from task to task with no direction whatsoever). One has to wonder why the Labour Board hasn’t been involved yet. They have 100+ people shoulder to shoulder in the lunch room during a PANDEMIC. People come into work each day wondering if the firing squad has their number that day. Any positive remarks on this company have clearly been written by the parent company. SAD PLACE!!!

Upon hire, you're promised the world. Frequent policy changes (including your pay level (constructive dismissals), total disorder, and chaos.   Employees are just a number here, your life does not matter.  A typical day of work is showing up without an idea of where you will be working for the day, being thrown somewhere when the work is done you are sent home without pay.  Through covid, the company "right-sized" and let people go that were on maternity leaves, off on sick leaves etc.  Workplace culture is one of sadness. No room to advance, no pay raise, no happiness.

Where once stood something beautiful, now lies in ruins. 
The vultures watch hungrily from their perch and swoop in to peck and claw at the entrails. Fight, you beasts. Get your fill. Doesn't it feel good?
 
The mighty have fallen; all those who would fight against injustice have been vanquished. There is very little good that remains. 

I cannot determine whether it was a gift or a curse. Is it better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all? 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Nothing   Unless stress and aniexy are an option 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Everything. Not knowing when the next mass lay off is. Or if you had a job week to week 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
High school .  Back stabbers. Rumours. Special seats at tables. It’s a joke 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Not good. Don’t work here unless you have a good shrink.

If you are okay with abrupt changes then you will do just fine here; this is a start-up company trying to keep up to the industry trends. Communication from upper management to front-line could use some work. Lots of opportunities to learn new things if you aren't afraid to ask. Salary is okay and reasonable for the area although it doesn't seem that way due to the nuclear industry but most other industries in the area pay roughly the same amount or less.
