I've been reading some reviews for this particular company that I currently work for one of them was that there's no advancement unless you're not white which is definitely not true.  I worked for the company for about 6 months and I moved into more technical position the opportunities are there people have to be able to take hold of them and move up this company is one of the best companies I've ever worked for they have the best benefits for my family they've managed to make me feel a lot better about myself and my situation I was looking for work for over 2 years is it the highest paid job I've ever had?  No but I enjoy going to work every day the company has taken very good care of me from the start they give you pretty much everything you need and their management is second to none my TL and my trainer if it wasn't for them I wouldn't have made it through because I don't really have a lot of sales experience and starting in sales was a smart idea because now that I'm in the more technical position I know what the sales agents are going through and it's easier for me to do my job to assist them.   I would recommend working for 7Xpowered for anybody who is willing to take a chance and take the opportunities when they are given to them yeah you have to work hard and yeah you have to hit sales quotas but they give you the opportunities you have to make the best use of the opportunities given to you and not expect everything handed to you.   Excellent company love working here work for another company for over 20 years and have never been treated better than I've been treated here. 

Working from home is nice, the benefits are pretty good and are available to you right away, I have a really good team lead and my co-workers are all friendly so the general work environment is fairly good. Hours are not the best which in tandem with how stressful the job can be makes me feel drained after I'm done for the day. Turnover rate is high which is expected to an extent for this kind of job but they take it over the top; someone who is always on target consistently, but has a rough month could be let go, meanwhile at the same time the company will hire groups of people with barely any interview process, many of whom either leave or are let go because they arent a good fit within a month or two. You also are constantly monitored for your time to a ridiculous extent, this wasnt really an issue before but in the last 2 months they've become overly strict with this.

If you're looking for a work from home job with semi-decent pay on a short term basis especially during this pandemic or are looking to get some sales experience I'd say it's definitely worth giving a shot, job isn't a fit for everyone though. If this was 2-3 months ago I probably would've rated it a 4 or 4.5 but things have been shifting here for the worse from what I can tell.

This Co. engages in sifting thru people like meat. If you have a stable job or looking for one, this is not a company for you. They hire 60 people 2 or 3 times a month and get rid of 95% of their work force within the probation period. The commission is paid out but I'm not sure on what bases because you will NOT receive any account reconciliation. This was addressed during my tenure, but nothing was ever done. You will have your sales STOLEN by other agents due to massive pressure to close sales - this was also addresses over the months that I've been with the company, and NOTHING was ever done about it. The management was asking and encouraging employees to write excellent feedback during our weekly meetings. Overall, it's a modern day sweat shop, just like all call centers are with controlling mechanism and micromanagement beyond reasonable. If you happen to get a job there, try NOT to address anything because you will not make a change, instead it will come back and bite you, likely financially. You will work overtime with a promise of banking time of, but they will terminate you before you get a chance to cash in on the time you put into the company for free. Backstabbing, favoritism, incompetence and sales practices bordering on scam.

Typical day is making calls, looking for sales and processing said sales. Bonus structure wasn't the worst I'd seen, nor close to best. It was a convoluted setup, purposefully, I believe. It looked like you were getting screwed on your bonus/commission. I didn't learn much; there were certain things specific to the job that you pick up, sure. I understand fully why people don't like taking calls from businesses. 90% of businesses teach you how you should want to be greedy, and "push, push, push" for sales as opposed to actually caring about people. If you serve your customers to the best of your ability and actually care about them, that's how you make people want to stay with you. That's what will make people tell their friends and family about you. Most cultures are wrong from the top to bottom. It's not the jobs good people have issues with, it's usually ignorant higher ups. Here, the training teams were great. Really seemed to care about the people they were training. The hardest part of the job: dealing with potential customers who the company had ticked off. The most enjoyable part: being transparent with those people and telling them you wanted to do better and hooking them up with something better than they had. 

This company has better benefits compare to most companies I’ve seen. Benefits starts on your first day. Great culture and there’s growth within the company. Yes, it’s is sales job and could be stressful especially if one is not performing, but if you are up for that challenge this could be a fun and exciting job for you. The leaders are helpful and supportive to make sure you meet your goal or even exceed it. During the interview, you are advised that this is a sales role and there are expectations (realistic expectations btw) just like every other company. You accept the job, you perform and give your best, you get rewarded. Simple. The owners are very generous in every aspect. They will spend time knowing what the employees think, need and what challenges are they facing.    There are lots of good people here but also there few that are not as good. Trainers are fun and chill but very professional and dedicated to make sure you are ready for the actual job. 

Cold calling. So if that’s not something you wanna do, this is not for you. Don’t apply and then complain later on. ;) 

I would have stayed if my family didn’t need my time. 

They act all fun during your training but the second you get onto the production floor to make calls, you constantly get threatened to lose your job if you don’t make enough sales. Which is hard to make when customers hate Fido/Rogers. They constantly change the plans so you can’t offer customers anything good to bring them back. Management is all over the place, act like they know what it’s like on the phone (which they don’t) and threaten your job. The hours are long, you work 11-8MST which gives you NO work/life balance. For commission they are adding new things so it’s harder to make money off your sales (which is only $10 per sale btw) which isn’t worth it for the stress you go through just to get 1 sale. 

I wouldn’t recommend this job to anyone, it has SUCKED the LIFE out of me. I don’t feel like myself, I cry every morning before work. 
RUN FAR FAR AWAY!

If you are not a good fit in the sales world this is not the job for you. You make cold calls which can be stress full and weigh down on you mentally. Managers pressure you to get sales but with no set up for success its hard. If you dont meet target 1 month you get let go with no emplyment insurance. Customers beg you not to call but you are still required to keep calling them. Great owners who are willing to listen, but goals for this company is not realistic. You just are not set up for success as there are many customers that will not give you the time of day. management will give you time off if you need. This is a new company so lots of room to improve and grow. Commissions could be more and targets could be lowered. Hard to meet quota specially after working here for a while as you get tired of trying to win customers that dislike the company. Only good thing is the benefits. Salary should be more considering the mental stress. 

I have been successful in my job at 7x but the company itself is not in position to take on more brands.  They have absolutely no policies in place so little to no structure on HR side so there is pay issues. The only written policy that they have is you have to meet daily/ weekly target no matter what issues you encounter. Employees should not have to bare the companies failures. Fix the bugs, get better work hours and create a postive work environment. 

Founders know that their is problems within the company because they grew extremely fast but that’s no excuse for not having infrastructure in place for your company to continue to grow. 

Don’t make your employees lose their jobs over something that isn’t their fault, and technically not their employees job. 

The website tells you nothing, and the job description tells you nothing. 7x Powered sells Rogers product and services. Because you're selling for the worst carrier in the country, you get yelled at a lot. Decent commission package and structure, and easy targets. The targets have to be easy, because Rogers is awful.

Management isn't on the same page. No one communicates with each other, and things fall through the cracks. The people are super nice, but don't talk to each other enough. That's the problem with an entirely remote company, I guess.

They provide you with all the equipment and furniture you need, and give you health coverage from the day you start, which is great!

If you can look past the mostly subpar conditions, this company isn't the worst. It's pretty close though.



As a software developer, this company is a pretty great place to work. We have a small, dedicated team where your thoughts and ideas will be valued and turned into reality. They follow a pretty standard agile development flow, but some of their processes are still being fleshed out as the company and the dev team continue to grow. Upper management does its best to be transparent and foster a great community and culture, but they have a big emphasis on locking things down for security that sometimes make things harder or take longer than they need to.
