To be truly honest I never had stress in my roles as I always had help from others.

The is a people first company knowing that what you do saves lives.  With such a focus everyone in the organization strives to work with purpose.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day is to start by planning for success and then meeting the team to drive success together.  There is no us and then it is always we.  Makes every day a joy.

....then this is the place for you.
Virtually each and every year, more and more was removed. More people, more resources, benefits, all in the name of the shareholder. I get it, a company has to make money however all this one does is cut cut cut in order to squeeze some more pennies out on the backs of the few remaining people. If you are willing/able to always accept more work without receiving more compensation, good luck to you then. Management are very sympathetic to this plight however...you still have to get everything done.

Business at Agfa Healthcare has have many challenges lately and like any other business that needs to stay competitive in the marketplace, some measures have to be taken by management and one of them is to streamline its workforce. Unfortunately it comes with a price as the valuable people resource with their knowledge, skills, experience and loyalty get lost. These assets are not easy to replace, as a consequence, those that remain will have to cope with more workload to meet the demands.

Very poor training to begin with, poor treatment of staff 
And no changes even when problems pointed out or when reported.  No transparency and evaluations done incorrectly. 
No wage increases with cost of living. Problem with communication having head office in Belgium and no team work with them. 
People in lead position have no clue how to
 to run a proper team.

This is the type of job where you can find yourself doing the same thing 20 years down the line. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I would like to have a clear career path, and that's not available here. You can be promoted within the company, but there's no official promotion path.

I enjoyed my time with Mitra Imaging/Agfa Healthcare a great deal.  The company fostered an open, fun work environment that had most people highly productive.  They promoted self learning with programs to help you move your career forward.  A period of adjustment was required during AGFA's acquisition of Mitra but things have smoothed out now.

I was reporting to the CEO and working with senior management. The responsibilities were very challenging. I learnt a lot in those 4 months and was able to successfully close on important projects. Was appreciated by senior management. Most enjoyable part of the job was creating new business models based on new challenges and uncertainties.

Work is project driven, and you can get lots of chances to interface with management. Somewhat political, need to push for your own advancement, but opportunities are there.

The best part is feeling like you are making a difference in the world by enabling healthcare to be delivered more quickly and cheaply.

Spacious cubic working envrionment, flexiable working time, friendly and support reliable management team, very nice and helpfull team mates acrossing different teams aorund the region globally.
