Getting paid… as little as it was…

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The people, the positions the people put you in, the expectations of the office regarding the work to be done, always dirty/messy sites, they give zero time for cleaning up, always trying to bend life saving rules to save a buck, always trying to save save save on everything, the feeling that every job for them was bid too low and never having enough man power around for everyone to be able to work and do what is asked of them, complete lack of support for field and office staff, and really your building a bridge for years in one spot… there is no reason(a side from being frugal) you can’t have flushing toilets and wash cars for the poor saps making you money.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Your on your own, I hope you can swim or at least hold your head above water… cus we ain’t helping you

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Work like mad with unclear and constantly changing instructions… do something so you can take it down and do it again… more rushed this time cus concrete is on the way… like always

What is the best part of working at the company?
There’s a lot of great guys to work with and the management at the sites are very professional and you can learn a lot from them.  Great company to work for.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The most stressful part is when a concrete pour is happening, otherwise just try to work fast to get your job done quick and safe

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
I enjoyed working on highway 15 bridge, it was a beautiful environment to work close to nature and the people were awesome to work with 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Keep busy, don’t come to the job to drag your feet around, there’s always something to do and always an opportunity to learn new things and get overtime if you want that

It had its positives and negatives like anywhere  all in all it wasn’t bad of a vcompany , I did screw up and say something to hurt an individuals feeling in a way I will always regret , so my leaving was my stupidity and my lack of consideration for others feelings , made me realize I truley needed to change how I spoke to people , so in a sense I learned one of my greatest lessons at this company , the things that followed the event I very much disagreed with but all in all it wasn’t a bad place 

Alberco has a very fast paced environment but employees and management are friendly and very willing to teach those who are motivated to learn, proven by many long-term employees. There are training and education opportunities as well as mentoring programs leading to opportunities for advancement. There are times it is stressful and hard work is required but Alberco rewards the efforts of their employees and does their best to promote a safe, productive, positive work environment.

Alberco is a strong company focused on heavy concrete works. For individuals that take initiative, learning and instruction is ongoing. Advancement is achievable because the is no set leaders. Just Super's and upper management. Can be confusing sometimes as to who's in charge. Co workers are great, but the work culture can be improved. End of day is usually unknown but not more then 10hours. I would work for them again in the future if I had to.

Actually All the work is Very flexible  and very good

Very good and it has good reputation 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Im Felixble active reliable person can I work under high pressure

The company takes on a lot of unique work in the transportation and water utility industries. The field work is fast-paced but also focuses on the safety side of things to make sure everyone goes home at the end of the day. 
Management is readily available and easy to talk to. 
There are a lot of employees that reach 5, 10, 15, up to 45 years of service which shows that there is a lot of commitment. 
Hope to retire here!

Very Tiring work days in all weather, generally left me drained at the end of the day. There was frequent overtime after normal workdays and options to work the weekend. The management and other workers were open to feedback or alternative solutions to problems even if they came from an unskilled labourer.

A couple of supervisors were good, the rest were idiots who received what training they had under the senior supervisor who didn’t care about safety but only about the image of safety. For people who don’t care much about integrity and doing things the correct way, it is the perfect company.

Working in a good weather condition and safety
I've learned a lot kind of work and tools management.
Management is excellent 
Toll box talk  every Morning and stretching
Working in the mud and winter, wet condition
Having barbecue in the job site!
