Call center environment making 150-250 outbound calls daily.
Recieve some inbound calls 
Track you potential payers to pay their collection items
A hard part of this job was that you had no leverage when it came to them paying back their bad debt. It was overcome by empathy and guiding them to let each client know that it wont always be like this and I can help you.
I did love convincing or selling people to pay their bills because our society runs on credit and one day they will need it;.MY dialogue was always positive and never talked down to them. I'm a proffesional and will treat you like one too.

Start at 8am, & finish at 4pm. 
On phone trying to get defaulters to make payments so as bring them up to date on their accounts.
Management good, but not exceptional.
Co-workers decent for the main part, with just one or two who didn't seem to fit there.
The hardest part of the job was to keep the tally of at least 175 calls made per day. So repetitious and mind numbing at times.
There were some enjoyable occasions, particularly when a pot-luck was organized. 

Working for a collection agency is definitely an opportunity to sharpen existing skills and gain new ones. It was a great stepping stone to my professional/career and I gave me the ability to speak to a customer with confidence but to also know when to draw the line and be firm with the policies and procedures of a company.

You have good managers and you have not so good managers. The work is very tough, customers will cuss at you and bring you down, but you still have to give it your best shot and get them to pay off their credit cards. No matter how good you do, management wants you to do better. Very intense there but my team was my family.

Worked full time. Received accounts to review while determining assets and ability to pay outstanding debts while following protocol. The days felt long, but we were kept busy enough to feel like the day was productive.

I love the people I work with my managers are great and coworkers are like family. The days feel extremely long and sometimes tedious but its a great job to help you grow and learn from.

A very friendly environment, fun people to work beside, great place to learn about money, and management is always willing to help you whenever.

ALLIED INTERNATIONAL CREDIT CORP is a very nice experience for someone who wants to work in the office with clients.
Someone who is good at providing customer service and work with people.

Very stressful working in a cage feels like. Wage minimum. 5 mins late consider late . They don’t treat people equally too much favouritism. Management sucks making right decisions 

Overall the job as a collector toughtens you up.  Fast pace very high stress level job.
Pressure is put on performance.  Would I work there again  No but it was an experience.
