Managers inforced irregular things to do on workers. Bringing irregularities to HR? Time wasted. HR lady used to pick sides. For her managers were always right. Contractors friends with managers were paid even for a smile. Whatever their friends charged, it was paid no questions ask. Workers were not allowed to question any invoice because the world would have come on themselves anyPObecause  why overpriced, they worker would have suffer the consequences.

The job was high functioning and stressful at times, but fulfilling.  We had an awesome team in our department, however the Director of the department continually sabotaged his managers work, which made the work environment stressful when he was around.  When he wasn't around it was a joy to work there.

- Management is friendly, very helpful co-workers, flexible working hours. 
- During the quarter end, the deadline is tight but it's reasonable.  
- There are summer events and volunteer events. 

Overall, decent company to work for. 

Be prepared to do as much as possible,  and only faults will be counted.  More over you will be a skip goat if you will try to bring better decisions  or ideas for discussions to your supervisor.  Never trust management, they have double standards.  The benefits and credits are for chosen. 

Artis was a good company that grew quickly. Corporate culture evolved as the company grew and provided opportunities for advancement. Ability to take on new challenges was encouraged.

I left due to poor management. I was completing maintenance on my own for 2 sky scrapers totaling 210 000 square feet with a "working" supervisor who excelled at smoking and drinking coffee. The manager and other technicians even joked about his poor performance.

Jobs included regular building maintenance and cleaning to painting and electrical repairs. Great workplace environment and management was relaxed. Overall a good summer job for any high school or university student.

Only issue I had was the 17 dollars a day I had to pay in parking to go to work and location is downtown and parking wasn't included with my employment.

People were great!

Was glad working with management that hired me. Unfortunately Calgary new General Manager was thinking only about himself not about company. Same was new operational manager.
